All creatures great and small

Specialist Daniel James Love Passes Advanced Infantry Training: July 5, 2009

We were so excited to hear from our daughter-in-law Amy Love today telling us she received a phone-call from Dan. He passed his march and also his last PT run and test and is now finished with all his qualifying requirements and will be graduating on the 17th. Amy said that Dan's platoon was ordered out at 2:30 AM early Thursday morning instead of waiting until midnight Friday. Independence Day

I've read several blogs by pure happenstance this week (Thank you Lord) and it seems a good day to start my own. I suspect the content as it goes will reveal why...I have no real goal in mind. We were reminded today how precious life is and honored the memory of our brother who was a true hero.

God puts us all in families for a reason. Missionaries and pastors who try the solo flying route will quickly run out of fuel...

Yesterday we returned from attending two mission's conferences in Pennsylvania. The Miracle of birth

I was overcome with emotion when Betsy, the mid-wife, said the birth was immanent.
