I have discovered that good intentions never bring results. I have had lots of good intentions over the years. Like the yearly New Year’s resolutions that ring hollow after only a few days. “I’ll do better next time,” is a frequent promise with sincere and good intentions but the next time is always just another empty and powerless commitment to my flesh that can profit nothing.

Judi shared one of her books with Dick and I when we were in Northwest Africa recently. "But God, this wasn't my plan" by Carol Hopson. It's an excellent book that clearly guides you to walk by Faith. Now I've read several other books of hers...all are excellent.

Dad was thrilled that you like the small pitcher...that was all his fun game with you that night and I left it all up to him what flower he wanted to bring, he wrote an answer to your question about the flower. "Te flower I gave you is a wild shoot from a tree peony. The tree peony is like a very small bushy tree with increadable large (7"diameter) blooms in many shades of reds and pink & white. alot of them have Japenese names so I think they originally came from Japan. Some are very expensive (75.00) You can check it out on your computer. All you need to know is tree peony. I don't know if your texas climate is suitable or not love dad" I'll be praying for you Denise as you travel...I am so happy that you can go to Colombia...Keep praying for Doug, he said Friday he did get low bid in a job.
