Flying Weather Men! My Secret Heroes and Other Strange Sightings on our Journeys!

Hurricane Alex 6-30-10 Campus RGBI- It has always been one of my secret passions to cover a hurricane but with a twist on the humor. I often watched these unsung heroes and hoped for a little hop or even an air-borne launch. My strange Pennsylvanian humor doesn't help as I find it ironic to hear these reporters say while their clothes flap and thier faces quiver from the force of the wind, "It's windy out here!" So this was my one moment of glory!
Our dog Chloe couldn't understand why I would even want to be outside in the storm. the next day however she chased frogs and toads to her heart's delight!
Finally, the only thing stranger than a purple flapping want-to-be weather lady is a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck ontop of a telephone pole or is it a family of four riding a motorcycle in the jungle town of Leticia...
